What is JLPT

Developed in Japan, the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) has been offered since 1984 in countries worldwide to evaluate the proficiency of non-native learners of Japanese.

The Japanese Language Program will host the December 2025 Japanese Language Proficiency Test at the Showa Boston campus.

JLPT Registration usually opens in mid-August. All registrations must be completed on the AATL website.
